La Tarde Polo Club offers various riding and polo activities which are tailored to suit the needs of our guests, making it an ideal club for individuals or groups with mixed abilities, ages and interests. With our intensive polo program from Stick and Ball lesson to tactics talk and daily chukkas we ensure to make the most of your stay.
WEEKLY TOURNAMENTS
for season preparation
If you are interested in an extraordinary training program in connection with outstanding tournaments, participate in our special Argentine polo league during the season. It includes different tournaments every weekend with other clubs, and the finals will be played on the famous Palermo fields in Buenos Aires.
EVERYDAY CHUKKAS
at La Tarde
Daily Chukkas are played in the afternoon with instructors, professional players and other club members on three polo fields.
The guests get the full argentine polo experience and we ensure that your polo skills and horsemanship will improve during
your stay at La Tarde.

It is highly important to us that all of guests feel relaxed and comfortable with the game. With our daily Stick and Ball training we prepare and coach each guest to the maximum of their abilities. Additionally we train in our sticking cages to practice accuracy and endurance.
During our afternoon chukkas, we will apply game strategy and skills we have trained during stick and ball session. We ensure that there is quality coaching from the professional players who are on hand at all times to answer any questions.
With our theoretical lessons by our professional Polo instructors, the fundamentals of horsemanship, rules, hitting techniques and game strategy are explained and discussed prior to the practical lessons on the field. We will go into detail on the aims of the game, positions and functions of the players and the game in attack and defence. The theory is supported by videos of games so as to analyse each situation.

If you are visiting Buenos Aires City and would like to live a different experience, La Tarde Polo Club offers you a complete service Polo day where you can learn more about this amazing sport in a fun packed day.

Our services start with pick up from our hotel at 8.30am, and breakfast will be served upon your arrival at La Tarde Polo Club. You will then take part in a typical day at La Tarde Polo Club and will then be driven back to the city before supper.
